What is CHAT?
The Community Health Advocacy Team is a student-run group at the University of Maryland Medical School. Its primary goal is educating medical students about healthcare problems unique to the Baltimore community. Furthermore, CHAT hopes to improve student knowledge of community- and hospital-run resources specifically tailored to these issues. Hopefully, these rising physicians can use these resources to improve the Baltimore community during their clinical years and beyond.
